This month the museum will open a new and improved Tot Spot, specially designed for babies and toddlers up to 36 months.  The area will feature a baby zone – a soft play zone for babies just learning to sit, reach, pull and crawl; a sensory zone for toddlers eager to touch and explore; a gross motor zone for toddlers learning to walk, run and maneuver; and a music zone where little ones can experiment with sound.  On March 20 the museum will team up with the Rose Theatre Co. for a presentation by the Theatre Tots about the weather.  In addition to the regular calendar events, the museum has a free kids’ night the third Thursday of every month (March 21).  For more information and a full calendar of events, visit www.sakids.org or call (210)212-4453.
